We provide both daytime and overnight respite services for families seeking support. Our programs are designed with a family-centric approach to assist children within the family environment. Family Managed Services (FMS) agreements are required.

Seasonal Camps

Our seasonal camps offer a unique blend of fun and learning tailored to each time of year. Whether it’s the vibrant adventures of fall, the cozy rides of winter, the sunny excitement of summer, or the refreshing start of spring, each camp is designed to immerse children in the season’s spirit while developing their skills and creating lasting memories. Join us for a season of adventure, exploration, and equestrian enjoyment!

Overnight Respite

Our overnight respite services offer families a much-needed break, providing a distinctive experience unavailable elsewhere. Children can acquire socialization skills, forge positive relationships, and learn effective self-regulation techniques amidst the companionship of farm animals. Our certified staff specialize in assisting children with neurological disorders and behavioral challenges. The program caters to children aged 8 to 17 years.

Introduction to Horses

Are you interested in learning the fundamentals of horse care? This program is tailored for individuals eager to spend time with horses and understand their feeding schedules, grooming, and basic groundwork. It is accessible to participants of all ages and abilities.

Reins to Recovery

This program is crafted to offer support during difficult periods, concentrating on your overall well-being. It provides a positive and secure environment for releasing emotional trauma, tension, and depression, enhancing your mental health and accelerating your healing journey, all in the comforting presence of horses. Open to all ages and abilities.

Western Riding Lessons

Are you interested in horseback riding? Our instructors have extensive experience in teaching riders of all skill levels. Whether you are a beginner or looking to enhance your skills, our coaches will help you achieve your goals and establish a strong bond with your equine partner. Open to all ages.

Get ready for a summer full of fun, friendship, and fresh air at Count Thunder Valley Ranch! Our summer respite camps are designed for kids and teens with neurological differences to thrive in a calm, welcoming environment—with horses, animals, nature, and tons of creative activities.

Whether it’s building confidence through horseback riding or making new friends under the sun, every camper is supported and celebrated just as they are.

Count Thunder Valley Summer Camp Pricing & Payment Details

Hello Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for your interest in Count Thunder Valley Respite Ranch’s summer camps! We’re excited to welcome your child for an amazing experience filled with horses, animals, outdoor fun, and supportive care tailored to neurodivergent kids and teens.

Here’s the pricing and payment info to help you plan:

Camp Fees:

4-day sessions (July 7–10, August 4–7): $600, 9am-3pm Monday - Thursday
5-day sessions (July 14–18, August 25–29): $750, 9am-3pm, Monday -Friday

Lunches and snacks are included

Deposit & Payment:
A $150 non-refundable deposit reserves your child’s spot. The remaining balance is due 14 days before camp begins. We accept e-transfer.

If you need a payment plan, please let us know, we want to make camp accessible to all families.

Cancellation Policy:
Deposits are non-refundable but transferable to another session if you notify us at least 14 days ahead. Cancellations less than 14 days before camp will forfeit the full fee.
